not a bad jacket… By Jason H. Saffert I bought this jacket because I needed one in a hurry and the price was quite cheap. I honestly didn’t know what to expect when it showed up. First off, it’s not a bad jacket. It’s a basic, kind of heavy riding jacket, with decent rugged zippers and does keep the wind off. Is it worth the 30 to 40 dollars based on those merits alone…yes. The negative part is all the patches that are sewn on. From the picture, I just noticed two small ones in the front. When I received the jacket, there were many more on the back, to include a huge, winged one that read “born to ride”. It was the cheesiest thing I had seen in a long time. I said to myself that if I could not get the patches off somehow, I would throw the whole thing in the garbage. It’s that bad. However, with a pocket knife and 10 minutes of effort, the patches came off easily enough and all is well. I’ve been meaning to replace this jacket(it was supposed to be temporary) but think that I might just keep wearing it.

Large Leather Motorcycle Jacket By M. Mcgee This jacket is a heavy weight leather apparel and I like the higher snap neck that helps keep out the cold wind. I can wear sweaters underneath it and still be able to move freely. I wear a large jacket in any other size of jacket. I would like the zipper to be a little more substantial feeling though but so far it hasn’t failed yet.

Cheap but Good By Wrascal Thomas I bought this because I needed a jacket for my bike, leather offers the best protection, and this is cheap leather. As soon as I got it, I took a razor blade to it and got rid of the silly patches. Then I wore it for a whole day in which I rolled around my dirty garage floor changing oil & filter on two cars and a motorcycle. After that, I dusted off some of the dirt and grease (but being careful to leave some on for “authenticity”), and now I have a decent riding jacket. Not crazy about the zippered “mini-pockets,” though…they are annoying.
