The colors on the tie look good but they are subtle. The material is 100% microfiber. It’s not silk if that’s what you are looking for. However, I don’t think that most people can tell the difference. It looks like microfiber keeps the cost down so that’s a benefit there. You’ll also be probably be less concerned when you develop “hanging hairs” on your microfiber tie when you scrape into something that pulls out some fibers as it doesn’t cost a lot to begin with. The material doesn’t feel cheap and it does have somewhat of a thick feel to it.
